Scout Ed fun. We built lean to shelters using sticks and grass. We worked so well as a team.

Our class Liturgy this week was based on our Statement to live by which is ,
’I know how to help others when they are in trouble.’
We read the story of The Good Samaritan and talked about how we could help someone who might be in trouble. Mrs Hoggarth was really proud of our ideas, as we gave lots of examples of how we could show respect, friendship, excellence and care.
“We could help someone if they fall over.” Tia
“ If someone is lonely we can play with them.” Lucas

It was a very wet day but that did not stop us. We had a great time making Easter bunnies from natural materials and toasting marshmallows on the fire pit.
We had a lovely day celebrating ‘Down Syndrome Awareness Day’ We came to school wearing odd socks, made our own odd socks and went on an odd sock hunt! We learnt that being different is fun and that it would be a very boring world if we were all the same!
Class 2 have had an amazing first week as a class family.
We always love a Friday especially when it’s Feel Good Friday!
