Today we used our science skills to investigate how a light switch works. First, we built a circuit and watched as the light bulb lit up when we completed the circuit. Then we added a switch and watched what happened to the light bulb when we switched it on and off. Through their observations and tests, class 3 can now tell you how exactly why a light switch on the wall can turn a light bulb on the ceiling on and off.

Class 3 trip to Hardwick Park

13th January 2022 By louisecoxon

We had a great time on our class trip to Hardwick Park today.  We put our problem-solving skills to the test in order to complete lots of different challenges. We used excellent building skills and fantastic team work to create a network of pipes to move water from one place to another, build dams to create mini reservoirs, and create river rafts that stayed afloat. It was a beautiful autumn day; the sun was shining and we loved learning outdoors for the day!
