Today, 28th November 2021, marks the First Sunday of Advent. Today the first purple candle was lit on the Advent Wreath at Mass. Below you will find an online Advent Calendar from Cafod, which has many useful links. There is also a link to some Advent resources that you can use at home as a family. During Anti-Bullying week, Children were led in a liturgical prayer by Class 1 where they listened to the importance of being kind and helpful towards others. Children took part in various different activities and all thought of one kind word to describe one another.

Children in Class 4 have been learning about some of the saints through liturgical prayer and in RE. They have created art work inspired by the different saints.

Children in year 5&6 have worked with Paul from Clennell Education Solutions to learn more about ways to stay safe online. Children were fantastic in discussing the potential risks and identifying ways to reduce these risks.

Children in class 4 had a brilliant afternoon, thinking about resilience and discussing US Open winner Emma Raducanu. Well Done to all of the children who completed the sponsored run to raise funds! A big thank you to parents and families for their support.

Children across school participated in Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise funds for Macmillan cancer support. All children took home a cake and tea/coffee as well as a raffle ticket for the chance to win a prize.
